Hopefully Detroit doesn’t provide any challenge and we get 2 or 3 there. The last 10 could be pretty tricky tho. The rays have amazing pitching. The angels lineup is mashing and the Twinkies have the best lineup in baseball.

If the rangers get through that and they’re still in good shape? The first 7 out of 10 are against the Astros after the break.

These next 20 or so will be very tough.

I’d rather put Santana at 1st everyday at this point and let condor work on his hitting the rest of the season in the minors, then re-evaluate him in spring training.

You guys need SP so maybe that is real deficiency. But yes hear he is not a fan fav just as Odor has become current whipping boy

You’re right. Cabrera will probably miss the Detroit series and be back on Friday after the appeal.

The big roster move shall wait another 5 days or so. I’m personally rooting for Santana to tear it up until then, but I don’t think he’s in any danger now.

Earlier I referenced Nomar having red hot streaks before. Last year over a 10 game stretch, he went 15-42 while hitting 3 doubles and 7 HR. That made for an OPS of 1.418. He can be a monster at times. To begin the 2017 season he hit .352 with an OPS of 1.026 for the first 13 games.

To his credit, he doesn't go into funks where he hits around the Mendoza line for extended periods. He just has a lot of elongated periods where he is nothing special at the plate.

Is this the year all of that changes? Let's hope so.
