After leading the Carolina league in ERA, Jason Bahr was promoted to Frisco. His first AA outing saw him go 5 innings and give up no runs on 2 hits and 2 walks while striking out 9.

It’s good to win a game by scoring in the later innings. And then hold it. That was the hallmark of the 2015 and 2016 teams.

Oh I agree. Would make things interesting if we got closer. Threadbare pitching and a third of the lineup very questionable. Wouldn’t be great if that would challenge the Astros?

It's been sort of a messy two games by both teams to this point. However, it has been rather entertaining.

I suspect the rubber match tomorrow afternoon will also be rather high scoring

I probably won’t even look at the AL west standings again unless we get within 3 or 4 games.

The wild card has been fun to track tho. With so many teams in the hunt, the rangers should theoretically gain ground on someone with every win and lose ground with every loss.

Looking to be a really good one, these types of trades seem to bear really good results in the NBA and MLB
