Logically, if someone thinks the Rangers should not be sellers, then they have to think others will not be as well. It is illogical to think the Rangers will buy or stand pat and those other WC chasers will not.

To me, it doesn't matter whetherbot is a buyer's market or a seller's market, we still need to do what we need to do.

For those who do think it matters what kind of a market it is, I do think they should be consistent and logical.

Ice cold hitter right now and defense does not measure up stat wise. Opens up Forsythe and Santana some. Got to figure out who gets ABs.... this series will perhaps reveal a bit. Also have guys in minors that might deserve a look see

There are only a handful of awful teams, 6 or 7. I doubt all of them have quality to trade. We certainly do have quality to trade.

The idea, that it depends on the return, for someone struggling like Darvish had been, is appropriate. The return for Mike Minor should be significant no matter what, so that caveat is a non-factor.
