heck yeah...I'll play! I prefer h2h personally and have played yahoo, cbs sports, and espn with no problems with any. I would think the members of this board would be in agreement no espn though. I wanna play, if for no other reason, to hear all the fighting among certain members here. That's why I think h2h would be fun. Make it personal! haha

Actually it is accurate. When the posters from this board have done it, it has been Yahoo. Plus Yahoo had a nice app that lets me name changes pretty easily without having to log on from a pc.

I've played in leagues on espn, yahoo, and CBS and I'm ok with the majority vote for whatever site I guess and prefer a roto standard 5x5. If we can fill a league w folks here great and if we need a few more folks to fill out a 12 team league, I'm sure I could find some others to play

I've never personally had any problems with Yahoo Fantasy Sports, so if that's what everyone wants that's good with me. My big money H2H league regrettably uses CBS which has by far the worst analysis and daily updates. Their hot/cold player tagging system is a joke as is their "expert" analysis: "Mike Trout is a player worth targeting in the first few rounds".

I'm in if we go Yahoo, H2H, and you end up with an odd number of players and need one more. I've never done fantasy baseball before though but have played tons of fantasy football. I'm just scared about the time investment a little with there being 162 games vs. 16. How often do you set your lineup in these leagues? Daily? Weekly?

I usually spend about 30 minutes a day or so setting lineups, reading up on players and checking starting pitching and projected lineups, batters vs SP, injury reports and such etc. You can spend much more time than that if you really want to but I've found generally, that is enough time to compete in most leagues.

If it's Roto, then you set your lineup daily (particularly the pitching). However, Yahoo allows you to set your lineups for as many days in advance as you like. They usually have all of the probable starting pitchers listed on your roster for up to 5 days in advance. So some people choose to set lineups for multiple future dates all at once and then only re-visit them if players get injured or slump/heat up. Others choose to micromanage more and set lineups one day at a time.

For H2H, it depends if it's a weekly or daily league.

Thanks WTT and BMurph for your input. I guess you can just go ahead and count me in if you end up going with yahoo and H2H. I might as a well give it a shot and at least if I needed to, I could set things in advance.

I had a team with people from this board last year and Yahoo was a nightmare, I was never able to access my team after the 2nd week

I usually check it a couple times a day just to check for late scratches, I probably spend about 10 minutes a day total looking at it, doing matchups,

but always check right before the first pitches of the day (if possible, those afternoon games can be hard when you're working)

I do, but not by choice. My money league uses CBS for $150 instead of using Yahoo for free. Stupid, I know. Their league and team interfaces are pretty clean and easy to use, but their analysis and reporting are garbage. Plus I like Yahoo and ESPN's draft rooms better.
