Once both of those happen, hopefully by this weekend, I will set up the league page on Yahoo and post the sign-up instructions and password on here.

I figure we'd do a standard draft since we have a few first-timers playing. Auction drafts are fun, but they do take longer.

Ok, the Fantasy League has been set up with tentative settings. Before I make it official, there are a few settings which need everyone's approval:

1) Of course 7:30 pm wasn't available as a draft time on Sunday the 16th. The closest I could get to this time was 9:30. Is this ok for everyone?

2) I have the league temporarily set up as a Head 2 Head league with lineups set weekly each Monday before the matchups begin. I have it set up as a points league with point values assigned to HR's, RBI, Wins, Saves, and many other stats. I used really standard point settings which both CBS and ESPN use in their games. I prefer point total each week over just beating your opponent in individual categories, but we can let majority decide.

If these settings are all ok, please indicate so. Otherwise, let me know what you would like changed.

Once everyone signs off on these settings, I will finalize the league and give everyone the sign up instructions.

I believe yahoo uses central time, where cbs uses eastern

9:30 Central. The only other available time was 4:30 Central and earlier in the day. I figured since most people preferred nights that 9:30 might be our best option. I know that's not ideal, but it was the best choice Yahoo would give me.

As for the weekly vs. daily lineup settings, I chose weekly just because daily allows people to just load up on new pitchers and hitters every day and each matchup turns more into a contest of who can make the most pickups and have the most players play (especially pitchers). Weekly involves more strategy, as you have to really judge your entire team's weekly schedule and choose who you think is in for the best week to start.

But if everyone prefers daily over weekly, we can do that.
