The once lifeless Rangers have found new life. As we head into this series with the Royals the offense seems to have found what was missing for a couple of months. I agree with Josh Smith and Jamey Newberg that those missing parts seem to fall into place when Evan Carter is around.

Only Jack Leiter is scheduled to pitch in this series, at present. You would think Dane Dunning would start a game, but who knows what the Rangers braintrust has in store for us.

Mitch Bratt might eventually get some consideration at some point as he is going good at Frisco. I also wonder if there is any consolation being given to ex-starter Cole Winn, being given an opportunity to start a game or two. No 40-man move or 26-man move would have to be made for Winn.

The really need Cody Bradford to wrap up his rehab within 2 to 3 weeks, because who knows when Eovaldi and/or Mahle will be back.

How is Corbin not penciled in as a starter in this series?

Perhaps some combination of Winn, Latz and Armstrong going 2-3 innings depending on effectiveness, or maybe Dunning thrown in there as well

It's beyond me why Dunning is not one of the starters in this series. He has pitched well lately and if he can give us 4-5 innings then that helps lessen the load on the BP.
