To me when they traded Kinsler to make room for Profar, I thought they made the right decision. When Profar didn't do well after that I still thought they made the right decision.
Sometimes good decisions don't work out well and sometimes bad decisions work out well. I try to judge the decision when it was made and not wait to see how it works out.
If they trade Nathaniel Lowe and he become a perennial All Star, I would not hold that against the front office. I fell good about us having the players to take his place.
If they trade Jonah Heim to make room for Huff to play more I would not ever think they were wrong for doing so. I could understand and agree with the reasoning for doing so and even if Huff flames out I would not change my mind.
If they trade Taveras to make room for Smith or Duran I would support that decision no matter how those players do in the future.
Right on.Huff looks tentative
Ok I will bite. Profar health definitely derailed him. He did. It fail and has played regularly with Padres and A’sdid profar fail because of health or was he just way over rated?

Now Profar #1 prospect status had more to do with a very high floor. To me to meet expectations he needed to play SS which has not happened. He has a big baseball IQ and never seemed scared of the big moment.
In retrospect he should have done the surgery sooner
Remember who his mgr was and how he handled Profar? He never played like a#1 prospect or even a top 10 prospect
It is pretty cool you start one about every series and get proper responses!!! I am liking this team team of yours!!!Your second place Texas Rangers roll into Tiger Town for an extended weekend series. Thankfully no bullpen games this time; Perez. Gray, Hearn, and Dunning are your starters. East coast times this go around, 6-6-3-12:30 are your game times.
The dog days of summer are here... stay cool and hydrated.

They just mentioned on the radio that Richard Durrett passed away 8 years ago today. I remember when he would time out of his day and talk to us on the ESPN board
