We do need a couple more BP arms but I would like to see some guys who have been pitching consistently well down on the farm get a chance as well and send King and Leclerc and anyone else who has pitched like garbage down to the minors. And Send Ragans down as a starter. He has not looked good as a relief pitcher.

Yeah, I would like to see us get a late innings guy and another guy who could give us a quality 2 or 3 innings when we need it. That way Ragams and Otto can stay out of the pen.

I would like to get Speas up here soon so we can find out if he can help us this year.

I am still where I have been. Would like a closer not much more

However Speas intrigues me. I think the Rangers should not mortgage the farm just yet.

Short on starting options in the minors, the Rangers are planning to use Cole Ragans as a starter while he is on option to Round Rock.

He would join a group that includes Cody Bradford, who could start this weekend; Otto, eventually; and Owen White, who was optioned back to Double A Frisco. Cole Winn is on the 40-man roster, but is still a work-in-progress. He allowed six runs and walked six Wednesday in four innings.

I am thinking maybe Carter, White and another couple of top 15 prospects.
