Chicago radio guys were going on this morning about two fans at the game that had the Chris Getz quote "I don't like our team" on their shirts. Security at the park asked them to either remove them or turn them inside out or be escorted out.

The Sox have 4 top relievers in the minor leagues - Peyton Pallete and Troy McCollough are guys with lots of innings this year - and eras under 1 = and few walks and more strike outs than innings pitched. The only reason the Sox are rolling out guys like Anderson in Chicago - seems to be Uncle Jerry doesn't want to pay off dead money contracts. Still - you would think they would want to get these prospects to Chicago and give them a taste of the Bigs - and a head start for next year.

I keep thinking back to 2021 - when the Sox played well - and Pito - was an anchor - Eloy was hitting bombs - Robert was in the bigs making a difference. In this memory - Robert is on 2nd and tries to steal 3rd and belly flops on his chest about 3 body lengths away from the 3rd base bag. The Sox bench just lit up in laughter - Abreu was doing reenactments in the dugout. That was Ricky Renteria's last season, and everything went downhill from there. What happened to this team should be investigated by the DA.

Regarding the collision last night, despite Vargas being in the wrong as he should have deferred...The play made me hate Benitendi even more. That dude is pure ass 100%. I don't care how much he's being paid...He should be cut.

He's been a big overpay, no doubt. But he's just a grain in the sand as to what's wrong with this organization. Getting rid of him wouldn't put so much as a dent in our fortunes.

two real bad ones .... benintendi and yasmani! idiotic spending.
sox can't spend well and they can't trade well ..... also can't develop well. so 100+ loss seasons shouldn't be a shock to anyone. just a horribly run company. they are really shameful.

After Moncado the Sox will be down to one bad contract - and a good contract for Robert, but wasted on a 100 loss team.

Get this team down to minor league fed talent. Jerry doesn't mind spending money on baseball training - so make the best minor league in baseball. Make the team ready to compete if Jerry dies - and we ger someone who will invest in good ball players.
