Why does Grifol still have a job? What could they possibly have to lose at this point?

in any case there's no good reason he's still the mgr. either cheap ass wants his money's worth or he can't admit he's (once again) made a huge mistake. They never actually announced the terms of his contract. I saw one article speculating his original deal was 3 years for $3 million, but who knows.
it was 3 years for sure ( Chicago White Sox | Cot's Baseball Contracts )They never actually announced the terms of his contract. I saw one article speculating his original deal was 3 years for $3 million, but who knows.
no no no no NO! lose 3 more! going for 25!F*cking ridiculous.
WIN A F*CKING GAME.
*tap tap tap tap*Question of the day: Will the Chicago White Sox win another game this season?
They fired Grifol! I bet they were waiting for the streak to end.
he was/is completely and totally full if shit!Good riddance...He needed to go. We're still going to be sh*tty...but man what an unlikeable dude Grifol was.
ok, i'm guessing 12 this time.
anyone else?
sad IS the word. It's (sadly) probable that we get swept by both the Yankees and Astros...but I would bet we get a win vs either SF or, at worst, Detroit. So that would be the 9-15 range.
I mean...It's baseball...so I want to believe we should win 1 out of 4 just by default and find a win or two vs NY and/or the Astros...but this team has proven it just does not play by the typical averages so the worst must be expected.
A rare, and I mean RARE blowout for the Good Guys. It was only the 2nd time we reached double figures in runs scored this season, and a new high at that. I couldn't help but laugh that despite yesterday's numbers pumping up a few of the batting averages, not a single active player on the Sox roster is hitting over .244 - incredible!Annnddd...We blow out the Yankees. LOL. Hope rises again that we won't eclipse 120 losses.
