I wasn't able to follow last night's loss, but I was worried when reading the stat sheet that Carlos left the game so early. Hopefully it's nothing serious, But I'll say it now, if there is no Rodon for the postseason, we don't stand a chance of making it past Houston. Period.

Ceasar Hernandez had the absolute worst performance last night - capped by screwing up a double play - so completely that he gave away a Rodon start and turned it into a loss. He has also experienced a power outage and an on base outage since coming over in the trade.

In the playoffs the Sox would be much better off playing Leury Garcia at 2nd.

i've been trying to think of a time the sox traded 'good promising' youth for old veteran players and actually came out on top.
