Preseason Games 8/25/'12

Indy @ Washington should be an interesting game in a little under an hour. Get t' see the 2 top QB pickss play against each other.

Here's my post from the RGII thread before the game starts.

So RGIII was one of the hardest QBs to evaluate I've seen in a long time. I haven't seen him play a single snap htis preseason, nor have I heard one word of commentary on his play so far. This is entirely about his play at Baylor.

I've decided I think RGIII will be an average to below average QB. I think playing against inferior talent at Baylor and playing with some great WRs made him look better than he really is. It doens't help that he's a Redskin either; that front office is a mess.

I don't thnk he's going to be one of those guys who screams accuracy and efficiency. He's decent in almost every area of play, but I don't see him do any one thing great except run fast. He might have an amazing game every once in a while like Michael Vick, but he won't be able to string together any greatness IMO.

Just my guess before I watch him play.

Get to see a few players I absolutely loved play for the Colts for the first time (Luck, Allen, Chapman). Fleener should be a great one too. Man they had a good draft!

First play RGIII throws deep for a potential TD to Garcon; over-threw it just a tiny bit.

He avoided a potential sack a couple plays later & ran for a first down. That's what he does great.

Indy switched to a 3-4??? I didn't know that.

Wow. The Redskins' interior OL is doing horribly. 2 guys have come up the middle nearly untouched so far.

Time for me to drool all over Luck now.

RGIII over-threw on the deep ball again.

Ouch! Luck almost got his WR killed on that last play.

Donald Brown with a great move to avoid the loss.

Man Luck is unbelieveable at scanning the field.

Ryan Kerrigan with the sack, but Chris Wilson caused it. One of my least liked prospects, Costanzo, got beat like Tina Turner on that play by Wilson.
