Well, another upstart team bites the dust. The 2 best NL teams square off for the pennant. I thought St Louis was the team to beat after the first couple of months, before the Dogs got rolling.

They probably have the best chance to beat LA so go get 'em Redbirds!

I put $500 on the Turdinals to win tonight, so either I was going to make a couple bucks or be happy the Pirates won. Meh...

Think ill do the same with the Tiggers tomorrow.

We are now reduced to being Turd fans now....feels so slimy...

Basically as we've been saying, the 2 best teams, almost an even matchup.
Grantland says Cards in 7 because game 7 is in St Louis with Wainwright vs Ryu

Carlos Beltran just did more for Giants fans than he did for the entire time he was actually on the team...getting all 3 RBIs in the Cards' win in game 1 tonight including a walkoff hit in the 13th.

2) No team who has won the WS twice in the last 10 years can win (except the Giants)
3) Any team with Prince Frickin Fielder on it must lose

How about Boston and Big Papi grand slamming their way back into the ALCS? Epic game that could spring Boston into the WS.

And it's Puig with the DP 4-3 in the 9th inning. I just loved the real slow walk off the field after the DP. Get off the field and sulk in the dugout Puig.
