Yes, we know that Aaron played longer.

Let's isolate the arguments for a second. Do you believe that Aaron was both the better hitter AND better overall player? Or do you believe that Aaron was simply the better hitter while Mays was the better overall player?
He's as homer as it gets.

Bonds never had a 40 hr season till 1993 when he was 28 years old.

Ken Griffey Jr carried a .494 slugging percentage and never hit more than 27 HR until... Wait for it... Wait for it... 1993, when his SLG jumped to .617 and he hit 45 HR. What were you saying about 1993? Oh, yeah, I remember:
That is also the year PEDs became prevalent in MLB.

No way he juiced though, right?

Well he was just 23 years old in 1993, so it looks like a normal progression.
He was too afflicted with back issues to be juicing in my opinion.
Mark McGuire couldn't play with his back, he juiced and was superman, He stopped juicing and the back was finished.

I have no bias towards the players so it doesn't matter if I know them or not.

But you have railed against using stats that are team dependent, and then use them in this argument? You also choose to use those stats and ignore the stat that you said is the best indicator of a how good a hitter is, and that's OPS. And you chose to ignore that stat because it doesn't fit your argument.

Here's a couple things, you choose to use "leading the league" but that has to be taken into context, especially when the numbers are very close. If Player A leads the league in runs 3 times and Player B leads the league in runs 2 times, it doesn't tell me much. Player A may have been outside the top 50 in the other seasons while Player B could have been 2nd in 15 other seasons. Obviously that isn't the case here, but we can't just look at these to make any sort of definitive argument. You understand?

There are stats in there that I value. I do not care about the others.

OBP: You have the numbers switched. Mays has the .384 OBP while Aaron has the .374.

You're kidding, everybody knows that.
I've asked this a few times, but you still haven't answered. What rule did Bonds break and what was the punishment for that rule being broken?

He was caught with his dick out on the SF subway.

So you don't think maybe you should question your beliefs when 1. You claim a guy cheated, but you can't tell me what rule he broke or the punishment for that rule, and 2. You twist yourself into a pretzel to make an argument using stats that you've previously claimed don't have value.

OBP+SLG ... Aaron .929 (41st)

Bonds 1.051 (4th)
Ruth 1.163 (1st)
