That is a simplistic view stinky foot.

The only "view" provided in the post is that you habitually contradict yourself, and the only thing simplistic about it is your misfiring synapses.

What you need to learn is that when you post something and then shortly thereafter, post something that contradicts what you originally posted, we're all going to think you're mentally challenged. Which we do.

That isn't against the law. In fact, it is encouraged.

I haven't contradicted myself in the least bit, it's not so simple.
What I did was expand on the subject to give a more complete picture of both players' careers as hitters and to a lesser extent fielders and runners.
If you can't see the reasoning it's your short coming.

That's not the only place you've contradicted yourself on this thread, sport. @soxfan1468927 has pointed out plenty of others.

You're like Chris Burke with a Baseball Prospectus Annual.

OBP+SLG ... Aaron .929 (41st)
Mays .941 (29th)
Bonds 1.051 (4th)
Ruth 1.163 (1st)

If you look back I explained that.
Both Aaron and Mays played the entire dead ball era of the 60s and early 70s.
They are #1 and #2 in OPS of the players who played throughout the 60s.
Mays had the slight advantage of playing more years in the early 50s, which might explain the very slight difference in OPS.

You mean, like, how everyone knows Manny Ramirez was suspended twice for PEDs?
That's enough bad mouthing of El Manuel.

MannyWood had its own Zip Code for crissakes.

But I already explained to you, if you take out those 155 games of the "advantage" years, his OPS goes up, not down.

So you don't think maybe you should question your beliefs when 1. You claim a guy cheated, but you can't tell me what rule he broke or the punishment for that rule, and 2. You twist yourself into a pretzel to make an argument using stats that you've previously claimed don't have value.

That is just bull shit reasoning.

He was a master hitter.

Cobb/Ruth
Williams
Aaron
Mays
If we're gonna talk strictly hitting, gotta add Gehrig, Hornsby, Mantle, Musial, and Foxx before we get to Mays or Aaron in my opinion.
