Oops, I forgot...

This is a shot at both sides.

1- what did Omar say that was so bad?

2- according to leftist logic, what she said was racist/bigoted.

The truth is, she didn’t say anything horrible about Jews (anti-Semitic); however, had a conservative said the same thing, they would be crucified. So she equated the nation of Israel to being greedy...aren’t all nations?

Now imagine some white dude said Kenya was being niggardly with their resources. Before you get mad, the word niggardly has nothing to do with race.

Firing Comey isn’t trying to end the investigation. He has every power to fire Comey. If he continually forces the end of an investigation, then you may have a point. Even though technically, he has the legal authority to fire every person, every time.

here is another canard , firing comey in no way shape or form ends the investigation . it didnt stop it one iota .

What is he trying to do?

Personal opinion.. make America into an isolationist country thats less diverse, less accepting and more in line with his followers.

i disagree with your assessment . having a border wall isnt isolationist nor is border security or and indicator of less diversity as my charts i have posted show

signing treaties just to sign treaties is stupid . defending the world without financial l help is foolish . making sure americans are employed and taken care of first is what he should do

if the UN and NATO dont want to play fair then screw them . neither one of those organizations are anything without us

i am tired of govt that tramples on my rights , tells me what to say and how to think and how and when i spend my free time or MY money .

you may want security for freedom but i dont and many like me feel the same way

I had no doubt you would disagree.

I also said thats what he is trying to do. Reality is..

The Diversity train left the station 20 years ago. And short of ICE going Gestapo, I dont see anything he is trying to do slowing that down.

As for his attempt at isolationism, For reason one, I also dont think this will work.

I will agree with you that te UN and Nato need us more at the moment. But do you really want to deal with a world where we back out of international relations and allow some other country to take our place at the lead of world affairs?? Or do you think America should rule the world by right of might and conquest?? Because the reality is, we either work WITH them, take them over, or have them taken over by some one less inclined to see things the American way.

Lastly, without security there is no freedom.

Isolationist? WTF... dude, I think he just wants to make "americans" first. Thats african, mexican, islamic etc... Any american that is legal in other words. Trump welcomes diversity. He just wants the process of citizenship to be done legally. it's not that hard. Please, come into this country,, the weak... the meek and any fucking body... but when you do get a SS number.. drivers license and pay your damn taxes the same that I'm burdened with. Basically, the government (dems aside) want to know who you are.... it's simple math. It's also simple logic,,, Trump doesn't want to keep people out he just want's to keep out those we have no idea who they are.

Question for those who stand against trump regarding border wall and security.

If an illegal alien happen to murder one of your family members (God forbid)... or a family member dies due to addiction or overdose of a known drug such as fentanyl that vastly comes from Mexico and under-lyin areas (God forbid btw) would you view border security differently? Because many families that you don't know or even care about are being devastated with such tragedies. I know I know,,, americans kill americans every day... and drugs would get in regardless of wall...not a good argument,,, a strong percentage who cross the border illegally have no where to go so they hang on the streets and turn to crime to get cash to buy food. Or join a brotherhood of gang thugs that aren't out planting daisies for the springtime fair. So if tragedy found you when it didn't have to be would you think differently? Im just curious.

BTW, if you say 'yes' you're a despicable human being who doesn't give a rats ass about anybody except for your own.

If you say 'no' than you're a liar. i'll be waiting for the answers.

Thats cute as you have basically said there is no right answer. My take has always been.... if 3% of the population in your opinion is in fact the biggest threat to your safety, family, and the nation... you arent being honest with yourself. And I would fall somewhere in the middle. Just as i dont blame every white guy in the USA for what the guy in Vegas did, or for some of the more tragic things that happened to my family at the hands of white people, Im also not going to assume that the majority of these people are coming here to do harm. The reality is, 90% of the people we are currently apprehending at the border request asylum.... In other words they are ASKING to come in and willing to be registered to legally be here. I also feel pretty safe in saying, most if not all of those people would go through a port of entry and do it legally if they were allowed. Now the real question is, why arent they allowed? And if you say well because we will have to take care of them. Thats bunk because I would take a Mexican (or rather someone from one of Donny's shithole countries) over an American damn near hands down, because they in most cases will APPRECIATE the opportunity, and likely bust their ass. Where as most AMEIRCANS (all colors) tend to feel they are in fact entitled because they were born here.

Shark, I think you are more to the middle on many of these issues as I am also. But the reality is that it is not just crime that the influx of illegals has caused (although it is more significant than you portray), but they are also causing significant financial and services hardships in part of this country. California and New York are both on the path to financial insolvency almost exclusively due to the significant costs of supporting these illegals. The schools, hospitals, and jails are overburden and often broken due to the strain of the illegals. This is real. Ask people who live in these areas. The fact is that who we let in and when is not just about crime. Its also about what this country can support with out having a significant negative impact on our citizens. And this should be the first priority of any President. The well being of the citizens of this country.

YOu know, I get that and to a point I agree. But here is the thing, as i have stated the majority of these people would actually WORK and be a boon to the system instead of a burden if allowed to do so legally. They also by and large do jobs that us Americans simply find beneath us in alot of cases, and gladly do them. I will give you the costs of schools and hospitals. But the cost as far as jails go is a construct of our own making. Just as the cost of jailing someone for YEARS for possession of weed. If the only reason someone is locked up, is because they are here "illegally", and they have committed no real crime, then would not the cost be absolved by simply making them legal and letting them contribute to society instead of fearing deportation or jail.

Your opinion is ill formed.

My opinion is based on my life experiences and having dealt with people who exhibit alot of the Trump traits.

No doubt your opinion would be different having not walked the proverbial mile in my shoes.

Personal opinion.. make America into an isolationist country thats less diverse, less accepting and more in line with his followers.

1- I can see how you believe he wants us more isolated, but I would quantify it that more isolated than liberals would like. I believe Trump would like us to be sovereign, take care of our own people, create our own laws, but would love a more fair to free trade business environment. This also follows my line of thinking. I personally think every state should be unique, just like every country. Other countries should be allowed to think gays are horrible, while others are very accepting. I think one country should be allowed to treat women like crap, while, others treat them as e truth is...neither country is right and neither is wrong. It is all opinion.

2- it depends on what you mean by less diverse. I assume you are referring to skin tone, mostly. In all honesty, can you tell me what diversity in skin tone brings? Does skin tone really matter, or does the person matter? I just find it funny how Dr. King’s speech has been totally lost on a good portion of the population, “where we are judged, not by the color of our skin, but by the content of our character.”

3- Is accepting actually good? Should we accept those things that we believe will harm us, or should we just accept it because that is where we are headed? Shouldn’t we try to make corrections to those things we foresee as being harmful?

Solid.. But here is my counter..

1. While Trump MIGHT actually mean all Americans when he speaks of OUR country. Some of his most avid followers as well as his advisors dont consider me as a part of the US. Or at least not an equally worthy part of the us.

2. Sure Skins tone is a part of it. But diversity also means culture and life experience. Now I know some folks think American culture is the greatest thing on the planet. And i admit it is likely better than some of the other cultures out there. But I dont actually think its culture that makes people want to come here, its more about opportunity.

3. Accepting can be good or bad. Assuming that most people who are not like you are automatically potentially bad and mean you harm simply is not the way I want to live my life or raise my kids. I said in another post, without security there is no freedom. The flip side of that is, if you are so afraid that you need to secure everything, then you are in a cage partly of your own making.

1- is this a fact or an opinion? Is this based on feeling or fact?

2- skin tone should have ZERO to do with anything. Do you believe all cultures are capable of living in harmony? Or are some cultures just naturally at odds? For instance, Islam calls for the killing of gays, but the LGBTQRXYZBCDES community wants to freely do whatever they want. Do you believe all cultures are equal? One thing I love about the Latino culture is the family structure, bas3d heavily on Catholic principles. I completely agree that people don’t want to come here because of the culture; however, what if the culture they bring is detrimental to the opportunity they are given?

3- I basically agree with everything here, except it is bas3d on situation and degree. If I am walking down a street at noon, I seriously doubt people are going to do me harm outside the local bar. At 3 AM, I am going to be much more aware. One person’s cage is another person’s villa. If the cage is big enough, which the US is, is it actually uncomfortable? I completely agree about freedom, those who are willing to sacrifice essential freedom for temporary security deserve neither. That being said, we ar the governed...foreigners are most important role of government is to protect the rights of the people. I would say the second most important is their security from others countries.

1. Steve Bannon is a self avowed white nationalist. Thats fact. Stephen Miller would be more opinion based on his words and behaviors.

2. You are right, skin tone shouldn't have jack to do with it. But to say it doesnt is self deluding on the grandest of scales. YOu are one for law and order. Where is the justice in Paul Manafort getting just over three years for his laundry list of crimes he was found guilty of. Crystal Mason got five years for voting while on probation. Aside from their respective sex's what was the major difference in them?? Because they threw the book at her.

BUt I digress. All cultures are capable of living together in peace. As far as all cultures being equal, probably not. But proclaiming your culture is better than one you have no real knowledge of, and have been taught/raised to despise is rather self serving.

3. The cage is always more comfortable for the top dog. And while I agree that if another country were attacking us, the government would have every right to defend itself. But we arent under attack, we are just facing something that most civilization has faced at one time or another, natural demographic change. Not to be confused with armed hostile invasions. And rail as he might ot try and call the change in America an Invasion.... thats not what this is.

Why is that a fair question to ask. Can I see your tax return?

The IRS has his tax returns and I can promise you they were scrutinized when he was vetted as a candidate. Is there stuff in there that might cause embarrassment based on some of his outlandish claims of what a great business man he is or how rich he is? Maybe. And that is what is driving people like you for these returns. Your hate for him and looking for any reason to bring him down.

So we have a government organization that has reviewed his tax returns. So why does Nancy Pelosi need them? To what end? Is there a specific issue she is looking for? No. This is the definition of fishing. What's next? Are they going to go through his high school yearbook and ask what was meant by some of his memories?

No you can not see my tax returns because I am not running for President and I'm not the one campaigning with a promise of "transparency" as Trump has. If you talk the talk you need to walk the walk.

Considering all of Trump's baggage, and given how every major party candidate with the exception of Ford over the last 40 years (even crooks like the Clinton's) have released their tax returns, of course it raises questions when Trump refused to release his tax returns and then lied about the reason. Is Trump only nominee in 40 years not to release taxes?

Note I said candidate not President. So that's a whole lot of people who were willing to release their returns. Why won't Trump? Of course that is a legitimate question to ask.

Stop listening to the MSM about ice . Over 1/2. Are Latino . Second history shows that without the US. International governing bodies fail ( League of Nations ) . If we back out of treaties it’s a myth other countries will take the lead . They take the lead now and vote against our interest routinely. If I had the choice of course I want the US to run things , who do you think I want ? Iran , ? And last Ben frankilin said if you trade freedom for security you end up with niether
