There are serious questions about his foreign business dealings. Hell there are serious questions about a number of his business dealings. That's why there are questions that need answers. And again you refuse to acknowledge that he won votes with a promise of transparency. Well when put to the test he refused to back his promise, then lied about the reason. Yeah I gotta problem with that and so should you. I expect more from our President but with Trump the level of acceptable behavior has dropped to levels I hope are never seen again.

When you run for public office you lose a lot of the privacy you and I enjoy, you are also held to much higher public scrutiny. Had I had an affair that would be between me and my wife. With Gary Hart it torpedoed his Presidential bid, with Clinton it lead to his impeachment. And everyone understood why. Trump never got that message, again he prefers to play by his own rules and that's not acceptable either.

Why are there questions? There are usually ethical questions about all for-profit businesses that are successful.

My question is, why don’t you question the millionaires made on a salary of 184k per year, and I am not limiting this to democrats? If I were elected, I would order an IRS audit of every government employee to rebuild public trust.

I agree you lose privacy as a public official. That doesn’t mean you lose it as the private citizen you were.

Was he the only candidate being audited? Are there people who get audited who have done nothing wrong?

What lies has he told about not releasing his taxes?

I think at one point on the campaign trail he promised to release them once they were "finalized". He lied. One the campaign trail. First lie ever told on the campaign trail. In over 250 years. Amazing.

I'm basing that comment on the hundreds of Trump folks I have been debating with here on the Politics board and on other boards. It's been made perfectly clear that they could find an ABSCAM level video of Trump committing crimes and they will blame CNN who was out to get him. Literally every negative thing said about Trump is challenged, I am actually debating with folks on the Politics board here about whether Trump dodged the draft. I'm not kidding. And this is pretty much common knowledge yet some refuse to admit anything negative about their boy.

It's that way about literally everything he has been criticized. He mocks the disabled, one guy said this was a perfectly natural move he has done before. Dad's refusal to address his promise to drain the swamp and then bringing in a band of crooks. And on and on it goes.

Why is the POTUS expected to release his tax returns but you are not? There is no legal requirement for this. Also, his lawyers, and likely the IRS during an audit, would likely like to keep their audit private.

Being the only POTUS in forty years not to do something doesn’t matter. It is not a requirement.

Trump was the only one being audited at the time is probably the best answer.

I never saw you address the Drain the Swamp situation, whenever I challenged you the response was always a form of "well what about this Democrat?" instead of address the issue.

Manafort ran his campaign, he was clearly a key player and a crook. Again they do not have to be "in the administration" to have been a conflict of the promise to drain the swamp of corruption. All the people you listed played a role in the organization, in the case of Cohen and Manafort they played key rolls. Stone as well was a key guy brought in my Trump, he's about as crooked as it gets but because he is tied to Trump he somehow gets a pass?

Not sure which President you are referring to but once again you are playing the "what about this Democrat" game instead of addressing the issue. Trump got out of his obligation by creating a fake medical exception of bone spurs, a condition that is temporary and many believe didn't even exist. I gotta problem with that.
