No doubt that all of this is true from your perspective, not so from mine. The question is how to bridge the gap in a manner that enlightens instead of pushing folks further apart.. We've got a long long way to go in this country but I'm honored to have been allowed to join this site and share opinions, ideas, information, arguments, counter arguments, and a few lies with our family here. Thanks man!

1- quantify for me the manner in which the government has oppressed Kap.

2- show me the ordinances that are oppressive.

Neither of these are from a point of view.

3- I already stated number three is an opinion no matter what side you are on. Let me ask this. If you are trying to start a conversation, do you piss the people off you would like to sway?

Mile High Sports' Benjamin Allbright reports the 49ers are shopping Carlos Hyde.

CSN Bay Area's John Middlekauff adds the 49ers are "open to trading every veteran for the right price." There's rumblings the 49ers want to extend Hyde, but he's a Trent Baalke carryover in a contract year. Hyde would be a half-season rental, so the 49ers wouldn't get much in return.

It would be interesting. What would you be willing to give up?

I think Hyde is a three down back. If Petersen was traded for a 6th, Hyde should be worth a 5th.

But what about his youth? Also, AP was signed to a 2 year contract.

hyde is 27 years old. The post said that the 49ers wouldn't ask for much. I think this should be explored. I guess it depends how much confidence they have in Perine. Kelley is banged up. CT is very injury prone. The RB position will get upgraded with this move.

I was kidding about the youth thing. Poking fun for your Carr argument.

At this point, you can't expect too much from Perine this season and I think Hyde is a high quality back. I wouldn't be terribly disappointed if we gave up a fifth but I would be surprised if SF accepted it.

Hyde is kinda injury prone as well, but I don't think a fifth would be too bad

He's never played a full 16 game season. He isn't a RB that gets better as the game goes on or wears down a defense. Nor does he possess or doesn't appear to anyway, the quality I think the Skins need most in a RB. That being the ability to get that 1 to 3 yards in a situation where everyone knows you're running.

I wouldn't lose sleep over trading a 5th rd pk for him or anything, but damn trading a pk and a player or multiple picks for him. He's an average to above average RB who has yet to show he can last an entire season.

Hopefully we play to well for this to happen but the guy I would like to have is Saquon Barkley. Then too I am a Penn State but this kid can run and catch the ball.

If it weren’t for a half year rental I would look at it but we need to respect our draft picks and stop wasting them for half year quick fixes

Confucius say "be wary of players whose teams are so opt to be rid of." Not certain Mack Brown isn't a better player anyway. Hyde has just had more opportunities to build up his resume. Sometimes the grass just isn't greener on the other side of the united states.

My drunken ass on the couch with a handful of chips in my mouth could see that Vernons knee was down with full possession of it before the ball was stripped away. It really wasn't even that close. How does the league even accept these inept judgements by these refs. It's every game in the league where you and I can make a simple call (usually with the first view) but these refs just can't seem to ever see the obvious. It's just insane to me how that was not overturned.

Although I do think he was down I do not think there was conclusive evidence. The other 49er player blocked the vision needed.

I disagree... there was a clear shot of him with his knee down before you see the defensive player rip the ball out a second later. It just seems so obvious... frustrating as a fan when they go against your team.

The worse call of the day was in the Jets game... how do you call that a fumble at the goal line. He lost control but then regained control as he fell across goal line,, yet they give it to NE at the 20. I could go on and on and on,,, this league has some serious officiating issues.
