The majority of this board wanted no part of him when there were trade rumors. I didn't understand it. I also don't understand why anyone would be against acquiring Hyde.

giving away draft picks dean hurt us in the long run . short term gratification isnt enough to give up picks

those mid to late round picks are where we get depth , young depth and when you piss them away you end up with an old non athletic team

Maybe they don't want another one year rental (less than that now) to go with the others. Could he help now?, possibly, but as I mentioned in another thread, for as many times as this team has gone after a FA or traded to get someone followers/fans of this team look at moves like that with a very weary eye.

i dont think either guys puts us in a superbowl , keep the picks build a solid young team that competes year in and year out and value our draft picks . dont be tempted to shortcut over the latest big name
