Alot of pundits are stating that Jordon is not a good fit for the Lakers. I disagree. We just got pretty good at Center.

Jordan hasn't looked all that good the last couple of years. He's actually been pretty bad. He really shouldn't be playing much at all and will basically just be regular season insurance for Davis, Howard, and Gasol (if he doesn't retire). If Jordan is playing a lot, something has gone bad wrong for the Lakers

Yep, he'd basically be insurance in case Dwight gets hurt or in foul trouble. Given a choice. I'd rather they take a shot with Aldridge.

I think I'd rather have another go round with Boogie as well. In the limited minutes he's played, he's still looked fairly spry at least on the offensive side of the ball. Jordan has been pretty immobile and plodding.

There are rumors/speculations that the Lakers could trade Gasol's rights for say a Parker but we shall see if that materializes. DeAndre Jordon is most likely a Laker and then if Gasol bolts for whatever destination, Aldridge will be the likely target.

The duo of Howard and Jordon could be devastating to other teams. If Gasol goes, which it is highly likely, the addition of an Aldridge would be just maxed-out destruction for the opposition.

Here is the present state of affairs of DeAndre Jordon and his place with the Lakers when he signs. For some reason, Bleacher Report will not upload the story. So to get to all the details, go to The Bleacher Report, NBA, and the LA Lakers.

Aldridge is going back to the Nets.

He can still defend and rebound....which is all thry need from a C. Cousins may be better offensively but it is atrocious on defense.

Jordan isn't good on defense at this stage of his career.

This isn't the DJ that he once was but saying he is "immobile" especially when we are comparing him to Gasol....that just isn't right. The Lakers need hiim to rebound and finish...he can do that and he can do it much better than Gasol. Gasol was a much greater liability on defense bc he actually was pretty immobile, hence why he probably retires. DJ can still rebound and still has pretty ridiculous athleticism. Injury is a concern but it is for a lot of older big men. With Lebron AD, RW, Rondo and AD...he will be open for lobs all day especially since all those guys have great vision.

Which is why I thought the Nets were dumb for letting him go. He was perfect for Harden
