I thought Byron Jones's play dropped off a lot at the end of the season. Hopefully this is why:

It's an interesting thought, but I think Jerry has made his mind up on Dak and Its a moot point. I doubt we could afford him either way, I'm betting they could get a first for him.I wonder what Arizona is going to get for Rosen. He was one of the guys I was really high on in last year's draft. Not saying I'm looking to move on from Dak, but if he is going to be looking for $30M per year I don't want it to be from us. Every player has a max value they are worth to you and I don't think Dak's is that high. If Rosen is almost as good as Dak it could pay off big for us. I'm sure it would cost us a 2020 #1 (and probably a 3rd this year) but we could use the savings from paying Dak to sign a huge free agent or two to replace that draft pick and still sign everyone else who will be FA soon. Just mostly thinking out loud and wondering what McClay may have thought about Rosen I guess.

They didnt throw his way. Hard to get ints that way.Well he had 0 interceptions for the entire season. Interceptions aren't the end all be all stat, but I'd like to have a CB that gets some before giving him a big contract.
I tell them that if an agreement isn't reached by April 15th they can talk to other teams about a deal and trade. and by the 15th of July the franchise tag will be rescinded and the Cowboys will move onThis tank shit is annoying. Just come to an agreement and get the surgery done already
I'd let him talk trade with other teams now, because we can't stop him from negotiating with them. You rescind the tag and you get nothing for him other than a comp pick (and there are rules to whether or not you get a comp pick). It's not happening.I tell them that if an agreement isn't reached by April 15th they can talk to other teams about a deal and trade. and by the 15th of July the franchise tag will be rescinded and the Cowboys will move on
This is becoming a distraction for the team.I tell them that if an agreement isn't reached by April 15th they can talk to other teams about a deal and trade. and by the 15th of July the franchise tag will be rescinded and the Cowboys will move on
my point is he thinks he has the team over a barrel. he thinks that he will dictate or he'll just sit at home and get paid 20M for doing nothing. not having the surgery before or now delays his availability up to and including the season. if he were to have the surgery on the 15th of April his rehabilitation would take him into August and then it could take 2 or 3 months to get into game shape. so we are talking October or November before he gets on the field and becomes what they are paying for. the Cowboys need to be prepared to move on from Tank and need to show him that they mean businessI'd let him talk trade with other teams now, because we can't stop him from negotiating with them. agree and it is keeping the team from moving forward. what do they do on draft days if they don't know what is going on with him? still think we should allow him to find another team, get draft picks in exchange for him, sign Ziggy Ansah and then draft BAP'sThis is becoming a distraction for the team.

I don't think it is a distraction. It's barely April. I think it's not an issue until we hit July. I didn't expect to hear anything for a couple of months. If something happens in the next month I'd call it early. Maybe if Clowney signs soon it will speed things upThis is becoming a distraction for the team.
I predict Tank is starting for the Cowboys week 1. I've seen or heard nothing to make me change that so far and I think your time line is way off. the standard recovery time for this type of surgery is 3 or 4 months and it could take a month or 2 to get into playing shape after that. so yeah that could put his getting on the field as a full time player into October or NovemberI predict Tank is starting for the Cowboys week 1.
