Oh.
That was a bad one. I thought it was a hold in real time, but on the second look, Maatta just lost his balance independent of Anisimov.
Just...just...PUT THE WHISTLES AWAY! The first two were alright, but every call since has been at the very least unnecessary.
Uh oh! Glass stopped in front of Bob and snow hit him! Watch out!
How's the game going? Just stopped by to report NY Yankees pitcher Michael Pineda ejected from Sox/Yankees game for having a substance on his neck, lol. Sawx winning 2-0 in bottom of 2nd
So far I'm okay with both penalties called...so there's that.
Yeah we get it Pierre the Penguins are God's gift to the world. *mute*
Sorry, I know the Penguins are good, but geez his fawning over the Penguins is extremely off putting.
Things looking really good for the Pens. Carry on.
Wait, they called embellishment on Kunitz? His hand got slashed! That hurts last time I checked!
Let them play 5 on 5 refs. Please. Let them play.

I thought the same thing at that point.
Looks like Bylsma has adjusted (!) and realized the Jackets were going to come out tight. The Pens were just flying and moving the puck at super speed. Jackets looked young and flat footed. The Pens swarmed like they did in the third in the last game and the Jackets again failed to respond.
Didn't help that one went in off the D again.
Probably had to do with the fact that he was going down before the slash came. But that's just a guess on my part.
I've given up hope on this. Even when there is an actual penalty (like a check from behind resulting in a face full of blood) I want them to just not call it. Don't call anything. STOP
That wasn't smart by Glass to do that after the other call.
But no thanks to Mcguire to feed the conspriracy theorists on the Penguins penalties in the playoffs.
Was the blood from that hit or on his hit to Kunitz? It looked like he got hurt on that one.
Local feed showed him on the bench telling the trainer his stick hit him in the mouth (blood on the shaft of the stick too) then they went to replay and as he was trying to lift to not hit his face after Neal hit him from behind, his own stick hit the boards and caught him in the mouth.
What did he say? I am watching the local feed.
