He just kept going on and on how dumb it was for Glass to do that after the call on Foligno. Nothing about how could the refs call it one game and not the other but more on that Glass better watch it or he will get called.



Anyway I think it was very stupid by Glass to do that and it is just typical Ref's in the playoffs never consistent. I don't care about the number of calls I just wish they would all be consistent.

I was surprised that Jenner didn't get interference for running into Fleury on the Jokinen hook. But he learned his lesson, didn't he? Avoid the goalie? How about no...

To be honest I would have been surprised if he did get called. You can't blame him that much after being hooked like that.

The delay of game penalty either needs to go or they need to be able to review it. The ref close by said it was off the glass, then the guy at center overruled him. Mostly it just needs to go.

I'm to the point where vertical stripes in general will start making me twitch. I'm not blaming them for how the Pens played that period, because it wasn't good, but again...they're making themselves a focal point.

Right call BTW. Low ref (O'Halloran, I think) wasn't looking towards the puck. Guy at center was. Believe me, CBJ feed showed EVERY angle of it. So review wouldn't have worked in the Pens favor.

At least that would legitimately be a delay of the game. Obviously guys don't throw the puck into the seats intentionally any longer because of the penalty, but just...just...ugh.

Belfour used to do it all the time.

It is, at best, a flawed rule. Shame it's one of the few that is absolute and often called correctly per the letter of the law.

The delay of game is an awful penalty but it is one and like 43 said the only one correctly called.
Sad they don't even get too many men on the ice correct all the time.

That's probably what makes it the most frustrating...it's always called because it's black and white. So of all the penalties to be easiest to call, it has to be the WORST penalty ever. I gotta think this was part of the "we need more goals" movement post-lockout, right?
