In the days when attendees were not blocked by OF fencing, people would even pay outfielders to misplay a fly ball. So we should stop trying to pretend like baseball has been so pure. Moving Rose to the Hall would officially acknowledge Rose's MLB records among Hall members. His record could be annotated with his confirmation that he made a mistake by betting on games and realizes betting is wrong.

Thank you. I mean, I get the lifetime ban but even Charles Manson got a few parole hearings. It boggles the mind that a life sentence in our court system often means 25 years or so but a life sentence from getting a plaque in a museum actually means for the rest of your life.

We're right on schedule! And we're 2-0 to start the final 9. We wanted the division anyway.
