It amazes me the crap that is spouted about Manning being a choker. He doesn't play defense so points scored against him really shouldn't count. When he is on a winning team, he's not given credit for every win. Rather than saying he chokes, I think "mistake prone under pressure" is more accurate. Just about any QB can be mistake prone when his team is behind and he's trying to do anything to get them back in the game. The other part is how well his team (offense) is responding to the same pressure.

That and I don't think it's 100% Manning's fault, but he's had to bear the weight of a horrible moniker. If Brady didn't have WRs in the right place at the right time in many of his comebacks, he'd be a "choker" too. When Welker and Hernandez dropped passes in Championship games, no one said brady was at fault, but could his passes have been better??

I'm not a Manning adorer, but I hate hearing him called a choker.

Like i said when i created this thread. Brady is the luckiest qb ever while Peyton is one of the unluckiest.
