Peyton Manning is going to crush records

Ridiculous what's going on with that offense. I thought the 2007 Pats were sick. The Broncos are far more balanced attack.

It's pretty ridiculous that he has 16 TDs through 4 games. On pace for 64 TDs and like 6,000+ passing? LOL, no INTs yet.

But it is the Eagles (lol defense), Raiders (not horrible but the Ders), Ravens (LOL Flacco), and whatever other crappy team they played.

Will be interesting watching them go against KC or someone with a legit defense.

i DO have to admit that i LOVE the Chiefs 'D' this season. now if they ever get the kinks worked out on offense i'd be slap-happy...

An NFL season is a Darwinian process, and the teams that get better through the year, at defensive prep and execution, tend to find their way to the playoffs. By that time, you'll see squads that will be able to match up with manning/broncos. There were a lot of seasons where the colts won 12+ games, but they got beat in the playoffs/sb every year but one.

that and the fact that QB numbers generally dwindle as the weather gets crappier...

Manning will do great then he will lose his first playoff game, just like every other season. Saying he is the best quarterback ever is a joke. If he was he would have more than one super bowl ring and he wouldn't have the most playoff losses in NFL history.

You're saying that as if he cant get another one. He hasnt retired yet. He didnt lose his first playoff game in 2006-07, so what do you mean every season?

The joke is pretending there aren't 52 other players on the roster.

Denver’s 15th straight regular-season win bested the franchise mark of 14 set in 1997-98

Manning, whose 16 TD passes are the most in the first month of a season, besting the previous mark of 14 set by Don Meredith in 1966 and tied by Kurt Warner in 1999.

Manning will hold even more records after this year. But the two the media will be talking about most when the season is over:

Most one-and-dones ever (he already holds this record)
Most playoff losses ever (he's currently tied with Favre)

He's obviously playing great (regardless of his opponents' 4-12 record and 3 home games), but even Bronco fans will have to admit that none of it will mean dick if it doesn't end with a Super Bowl win.

I disagree because Pats fans don't view the '07 season this way.

Obviously Superbowl is the ultimate goal. Doesn't mean us Bronco fans can't enjoy what we are seeing before our very eyes right now. Every week some record falls so every week we are watching some kind of historical performance from Peyton. It definitely has been fun to be a part of that. Again though like you said Superbowl is the ultimate goal and this team seems very focused on that plan. Everybody on both sides of the ball are playing tough and the team should get better at least defensively as the season progresses with getting Von Miller and Champ Bailey back.

Well, maybe if Rivers leads his teams to the postseason more consistently, then he could have as many OAD's as Peyton one day.

I definitely agree it must be fun to watch your team win easy every week, as opposed to the minor heart attacks my team puts me through every week.
