Micro is right. No one accepted shit. I was only reacting to Nautymax's post, who had nothing to do with anything to begin with, but decided to speak for Micro and Mike. Shit is over.

Did I do a good job moderating rob? I tried.

Could have sworn I saw Harvin score in the Super Bowl, taking his duties back on returns and starting like he was intended to. Must have been a different game with a lame halftime show, idk. If CJ goes down, we lose, Tate isn't changing that.

That's your opinion, and it remains to be seen. Hopefully Calvin stays healthy all year, but if he doesn't, and we still win, we'll come back to this.

I don't think he will, but if Jason Jones starts for us at DE, our defense is in trouble.

Another opinion that remains to be seen. I see no evidence that Young was our 2014 starter. Do we know for sure that Mayhew even tried to keep him?

And to clarify this, there aren't any cliques either. There is a large group of us that have been getting together for the home opener weekend for years now. Each year the number has grown. And we have all become friends outside of this board. Some of us that even live closer to each other hang out often. It is what it is. If someone wants to crack jokes because of that, then that's something they need to deal with.

But this group doesn't always agree with each other for the sake of it. I can think of multiple "arguments" between guys on here. Hell, smit-tay and I had one just recently over Marquise fucking Lee. It happens. But there aren't "cliques", just guys that know each other better than others. If anyone were to join us for the opener, it'd be the same thing. We'd all have a great time and then return to disagreeing on many things Lions related on the board. ;) :suds:

Sounds like discrimination to me. And there are laws against against that. I am going to report you.

Maybe he will maybe he won't. Who knows. Hopefully we won't find out. But I do know he gives us a better shot than Durham at the 1

If Durham played the whole season and and had the best drop drop rate in the league then yes.

Well, we don't have to worry about that, but fair enough.

I will be attending one of these with you guys. I just need to know.

Where do I put the sign up list for guys from the board who want to fight me? It will be much easier to go one at a time.:laugh3:

Lions will take a WR at 10. You heard it here first.

Come on Rob -- I thought you were on board with the draft defense early and often this draft. In actuality -- I can't even say I would be upset if they drafted Mike Evans, as that means they don't have a choice but to draft defense after that, as the entire offenses would be set, with the exception of Center.

Nobody wants to fight you. The aggrevation is obvious, but home openers are for fun, not fighting.

If you do decide to join us, you'll have a blast. And maybe you and TP can go hug in a corner and make up?

I'm kidding about the WR. No way are they taking Evans. If they do, no one will ever be able to convince me that Mayhew hasn't been the one pulling the strings dating back to the Millen days.

Rogers
Roy Boy
Mike Williams (Evans would be our Mike Williams this year)
Calvin
Derrick Williams
Titus Sr.
Broyles
Hell, let's throw frying pans hands Pettigrew in there too, why not.

Grabbing 25 year old Golden Tate in FA is the smartest WR decision this regime has made since taking Calvin.

What we do know for sure is that Jones didn't get hurt until halfway through game 3. He played 85 snaps, 84 of them healthy. And he was completely invisible. 1 tackle, 0 assists, 0 hurries. He's coming off yet another season-ending injury, and he's not getting any younger. There's not a team in the league that would start him this year. Hell, there's not a team in the league that would have started him last year, other than the geniuses in Allen Park. Young's production over Jones's was night & day.

Center is fine but theres never an argument from me for them drafting offensive linemen. They actually need a backup QB I believe.

1000 thumbs up. The tate signing was brilliant and the lions inability to draft wide receivers is pathetic.

And if the lions draft evans they will be ok if CJ goes down? No they wont. CJ is an mvp and teams tend to struggle when they lose an MVP player. I dont get this mindset that we need another elite WR in case CJ gets injured.

Calling the Tate signing brilliant is a little over board in my opinion. What does everyone see that I don't? He's not even as good as T.Y Hilton.

Thats your opinion. Hes perfect for what the lions needed, he didnt cost a ton, hes hitting his prime, he is extremely talented, and he has great hands.
