Team injuries (including Lebron's), and the Lakers missed on adding a 2nd max player last summer. Now that task falls to this summer (if the spawn can manage to hire a president and coach without embarrassing the franchise further).

LOL. I guess Embiid, Harden, Giannis, etc are all on the downside of their careers since they had injuries this year. Hell, Zion too.

One injury = starting to get hurt/declining? I don't buy it. Most of the games he missed at the end of the season were due to the season not mattering. We saw him play elite basketball at the beginning of the season. He will need to get more talent around him so he won't have to play so many minutes but he is still a top 2 player.

We saw him play elite basketball at the beginning of the season. He will need to get more talent around him so he won't have to play so many minutes but he is still a top 2 player.

if he had a great player around him it would take a lot less toll on him

imagine this year----- for the first time in a long time he doesnt have an elite scorer next to him- let alone 2--- he has a bunch of kids--- the one young kid they are counting on to maybe be the 2nd option is an asshole that sucker punches someone in one of the first games and get suspended, one of the other young kids cant stay healthy.....MAgic Johnson is calling out Luke Walton after a couple weeks....I mean......LeBron is definitely getting what he deserves. lol

That would be the smartest move she could make. Trade him for an Anthony Davis and then see if they could sign Leonard and the Lakers could have two really good players that are young and healthy and are not on their last legs because I guarantee you that LeBron does not have enough time in his career to win another championship. His best chances was in the Eastern Conference.
