Per some outlets, Jeanie Buss is being advised to trade Lebron James

The Lakers need to decide to commit to James or not. Wandering between two roads as they did this season is resulting in a disaster. From the moment they obtained James, they should have acquired as many 3 and D players as they could deal for, even at the cost of giving up their young talent. TBH, I don't think any of the Lakers young talent is promising, at the most one of them might be a minor star. Why they continue to hold onto the young core has got me baffled especially when you already gave up better young players for nothing. If the Lakers continue down this path of not choosing between building a contender and developing the young talent, the Lakers will be an even big joke then they already are. I'm a Lebron fan and it frustrates me to see them waste his final years like this because they are so inept. TBH, I wish they trade Lebron because the Lakers don't know what to do with a superstar player with their inept ownership and front office. End of Rant.

Trade LeBron to Toronto for Kawhi in a sign and trade
If Kawhi doesnt want back it would be a good plan B for Toronto.
LeBron with Toronto's roster >lebron with lakers roster

I honestly don't think there would be many takers to tell you the truth. Yeah, he's all time awesome but he's got so much mileage and everywhere he's been has been nothing but drama. It's getting to the point where the risk of injury and the headache you know you're going to get is going to outweigh the upside.

The Lakers best bet to right the ship is bringing back the guy who left. Magic Johnson. He has instant credibility with any coach or potential free agent. Change his title, delegate responsibilities whatever, but that is the guy they need

Lebron believed the Magic mystique would carry him to a championship team.

Now the Lakers are in a rebuild mode with a superstar who is going to be really unhappy.

Can't say that I feel any pity for him though. If he wanted to win championships he would have gone to Philly or Toronto.

But his post-career career was more important to him so he's likely seen his last championship game.

Would be horrible to trade James.....you build around a player like him.....they wouldn't get equal value in return.
Andre Drummond and a protected 2020 first.

Let's make it happen.

Toronto didn't have the cap space to sign him when he was a FA.
