Yep but if the Lakers get Lonzo Ball i would offer them Mogov And Russell and that's the best they will get
I don't agree with this. You're probably referencing the Cavs and Warriors given that they both don't have a true PG that dominates the ball. The Cavs have Lebron who operates in that capacity. The Warriors offense focuses on ball movement and unselfish play. Otherwise, it's important to have a pure PG that can handle the ball and run an offense efficiently.
Randle has more range than you'd think.....isn't a player that stays within 5-10 feet of the basket.
as i just said on another thread this is a major dick move. Not informing them he is leaving but basically to say he prefers the lakers basically kills any other trades Indy wants to make.
It's not a dick move. Teams will not trade for PG if he isn't committed to resigning with them. It's good to know where the players will and won't resign. That's why I applauded Melo for letting the Nuggets know his plans.
Pure PG's are very overrated. Just look at all the championship teams the past 25 years.
It was clearly stated that I had no issue with him informing the Pacers he won't be back after next season.....
And I clearly stated that it was good to let them know what team he is going to, like Melo did.
Why is LeBron even in this conversation?I wonder if LeBron and George have been in communication.
It is in the Lakers' and Pacers' best interest to make a deal now. Granted, they won't have to pay much, but they need to shed some salary and the Pacers would benefit from losing games this year. They should be able to get either Randle or Russell out of a trade. Lakers would insist on including either Deng or Mozzy at this point.
Why would the Lakers sign a 32 (33 in December) year old player? IMO, the Lakers will be better off forgetting about James and build for the future. And if James comes next summer he could play PF....Randle could be dealt or moved to the bench.

IMO, the Lakers would be better off forgetting about a 32 (33 in December) hign price player. If James wants to live in Los Angeles, let him sign with the Clippers.Because of the rumors running rampart that LeBron's people are looking for housing in LA and that he may be considering a move there in 2018. If the Lakers get George, Ingram and Ball show star potential and Cleveland doesn't get a lot closer to beating GS, it is a possibility.
LOL, call me crazy, but I think it would be a mistake for the Lakers to sign LeBron to a contract. JMHO.Saying you would not want the best player in the league is crazy. He has a few great years left in him, and based on his recent track record, he probably isn't looking to sign a long contract anyway. Even if he were, you do it. Who better for Ball and Ingram to learn from?
That line up would work for me all day longRussell, Mozgov, and the 28th pick would be fair to get PG here. You aren't getting a GREAT player with that pick. Sweeten the pot a little for Indy to get the trade done. If the Lakers d take Ball, you have a sweet lineup of:
G-Ball
G-George
F-Ingram
F-Randle
C-Zublacka

It would only be bad if he wants them to trade Ball and Ingram to acquire his over the hill friends. If he goes to LA to play with Ingram and Ball, it can only be good for the Lakers. Short term and Long term.
