The Patriots waived RB Tyler Gaffney, creating an open spot on the 53-man roster that could pave the way for RB Dion Lewis' activation to the 53-man roster. The Patriots wouldn't have to officially make the move with Lewis until Saturday at 4 p.m. ET, as they generally wait until the last moment possible so as to not give away their intentions to opponents.

The Bills are an NFL-worst 0-23 since 2012 when allowing 25+ points. The Seahawks are second-worst at 1-14 in those games over that span. One of these teams will improve its record in that regard. Teams win about 20 percent of those games overall, with New England leading the way at 15-11, counting playoffs. No other team is above .500.
Interesting stat. It makes me wonder what Seattle's record is when holding opponents to under 25 points.

One of the personnel-related questions looming for the New England Patriots is how the return of running back Dion Lewis, who is on course to be officially activated to the 53-man roster by Saturday at 4 p.m. ET, will affect running back James White's playing time.

White has been the primary "passing back" through the first eight games of the season, and Bill Belichick said Friday morning that it's going to be difficult for anyone to surpass him at this point.

White has played 226 offensive snaps this season (42 percent), and Lewis figures to cut into that number, but how much remains a question.

"I think James White is a good player. What he does is good. Could somebody do it better? I don't know. But it would take quite a bit, I would say, based on where he is and how consistent he's been with what he's done," Belichick said. "It would take somebody playing pretty good to be better than him."

White has totaled 29 catches for 258 yards with three touchdowns, while adding 26 carries for 107 yards (4.1 avg.).

As for Lewis, the expectation is that the Patriots will take a conservative approach with his return to action. He will likely initially be the team's No. 3 option behind LeGarrette Blount (292 snaps, 54 percent) and White, while Brandon Bolden and rookie D.J. Foster providing depth.

WR Chris Hogan (back) was added to the Patriots' injury report Friday. He did not participate in practice and is questionable along with WR Julian Edelman (foot), TE Martellus Bennett (ankle) and DT Alan Branch (back). DE Chris Long didn't participate in Friday's practice for non-injury-related reasons.

Hmmmmm BB smoke screen? As much as I hope Hogan is out there this weekend I don't see TB going deep to often anyway. Lots of seam routes to the TEs where the Hawks have struggled. Marty B and JE will be playing so I'm not concerned about them being on the list. Long and Branch could hurt. Need to keep RW in the pocket.

I don't see their run game being an issue. Michael may get one or two long runs but that's it. Even if Crawls was back neither are beastmode. That ship has sailed.
Last time NE played agains Graham they shut him down so BB has the blueprint on that.
Need to corral Angry Doug Baldwin.

As for the NE offense I'd love to see DA have a big game. But I think one or both of the TEs have a big game. No Kam Chancellor will really hurt them. Blount may also have a big game if he goes north and south. If he dances around he'll go nowhere.

I think NE covers. BB has had two weeks to plan. As long as NE doesn'f come out flat. They need to win the coin toss and defer. Kick it away from Lockett. Stop their offense in the first series. That always seems to set the tone for the game. I can't stand when NE gets the ball first and go 3 and out. That seems to put them in an early funk that takes a couple series to get rid of.

Should be a good game. Go Pats

Wrong Good sir. We have both Bam and Bennett back. Only one missing is Tommy Rawls

I heard Kam will likely be back, I hadn't heard Bennett was scheduled to return? Even better that will make a NE victory that much sweeter. Rumor out of NE is Lewis will return. That will certainly help the NE rushing offense especially considering Seattle has been struggling against the run. Albiet last week you faced Shady. NE knows that pain.

Hell TT even was killing us

You Remember Pope from the Preseason. CM is Questionable (Got him in a few Fantasy Leagues on Yahoo) so Pope might get some touches.

It's amazing how quickly the Seattle running game has declined as bad as they have this season.

Is this all happening at CMC or the VA?

A little. I think it's a combo of:

A) the Record that ADB and Russ set
B) Marshawn Retiring
C) Tommy's Injury
D) Russ Injury
E) Graham getting involved more(ala the Buffalo Game)

All of those combined

I think you can contribute it to the O line and RW injury. It will be interesting to see what offensive game plan the Hawks come out with this weekend? As well what D plan NE runs? Last time Graham played against NE they held him to zero catches. Different D this time around. If Mingo with some help over the top can stay with him I think BB focuses on containing him. That leaves ADB as the go to guy for Seattle.

This one is tricky but I had 5 bypasses 2005 and 7-1/2 hour of open heart.

CMC at the NE Heart Institute. VA is picking up the tab. Fucking Agent Orange sucks.

Probably the biggest one i had was Kidney Transplant in Vancouver (Victoria has a clinic but Vancouver is where everything runs out of). Kept me there for 2 monthes (a week in Hospital and the rest in the Vancouver area)

More Points for me in the work Pool :heh:

Also if James White gets some touches that would be greatly appricated (flex player):heh:

Also a name that you probably heard of but some of the others haven't. Tanner McIvoy

Keep a ear out for that name. His role is kinda of like the role of Chris Matthews in the SB
