2013 (The year before O'Brien): Texans staring QB Week 1 Matt Schaub. Week 1 of 2014, no longer on the roster.

2014: Texans starting QB Week 1 Ryan Fitzpatrick. Week 1 of 2015, no longer on the roster.

2015: Texans starting QB Week 1 Brian Hoyer. Week 1 of 2016, no longer on the roster.

2016: Texans starting QB Week 1 Brock Osweiler. Week 1 of 2017, no longer on the roster.

2017: Texans starting QB Week 1 Tom Savage. Week 1 of 2018, no longer on the roster.

I think that speaks for itself.

Under O'Brien, the Texans have no direction, no identity, no stability at the most important position in the league.

No chance to ever get better.

do you believe JJ calls down to the field in certain situations to demand a certain play like some people have suggested? i'm not sure if it's true or not but, if so, maybe JJ called that play?

O'Brien looks like an ass cheek, and he coaches like a brain fart.

He should have called a timeout after the Gronk non-catch and forced the refs to review. He also had a horrible punt decision near the end of the game, a horrible move given the score, which he was bailed out on when the punt was muffed and his team recovered. But it was so stupid mathematically speaking that I wonder how he is still employed in the NFL. He is a great example of coaches who don't coach to win, they coach not to lose by too many points.
