Only other thing I'll say is that Game 6 was the worst of all the games being officiated. Callahan's flying elbow before the soft rough on Hillen, Green getting slew footed before him cross checking Dorsett in the face, late hit on Perreault not called. List goes on, but at the very least every penalty called but the DOG was marginal while the Rangers had zero called on them.

I mean, I don't like Leonsis for obvious Pittsburgh-fan related reasons...but you guys in DC can't catch a break and just have a normal, uninvolved, super rich but understanding owner. There's just something about owners who try to be involved...


And yeah, OV ain't goin' no where...I may joke about the KHL, but I just can't see it happening (and it'd be a really, really bad thing for the NHL too).

He's half right. The horrible officiating *IS* why the Caps lost. And that *IS* what they are complaining about.

I can't believe I am saying it, but I hope Lucic absolutely DESTROYS someone this next series.
