I agree with Rev.... Should only do this late in the game down by 1 run or to break a tie. The problem with giving up an out to move the runners is that first base is now empty and the pitcher will be pitching carefully. Most of our guys have an aggressive approach and usually swing at a bad pitch, which usually results in : a pop out, a strike out, or a ground out to third with 0 runs scoring. It's not worth it this early in the game to neuter the whole inning for one run that you're not guaranteed to get.

I really only liking bunting in tie games or to pad the lead. Giving up any outs while you are behind is unwise to me.
