We should start a Rams Draft Board. Obviously we will disagree about who ranks above who but I want to compile a list of guy I think the Rams could/should be targeting by round and position. This way we can look at our list of potential targets as the draft goes on and have more of a list to think off of. I'll start with the top of the draft.

Rams Round 1: 1(2) + 1(13)
I would like to see the Rams get 2 of the following 9 players in the 1st round:
Jadeveon Clowney
Jake Matthews
Greg Robinson
Sammy Watkins
Mike Evans
Haha Clinton-Dix
Calvin Pryor
Darqueze Dennard
Justin Gilbert

Two other players I'm high on:
Taylor Lewan
Kyle Fuller

I think that first round big board would look like this:

Pick #2 - Clowney, Watkins, Matthews, Robinson
Pick #13- Gilbert, Dix, Pryor, Dennard

I think you need to throw out Evans as we won't take him at #2 and he will probably be gone at #13

For round #2 it depends on what we get with the first 2 picks but as I see it, these would be the targets:
Morgan Moses,Antonio Richardson and David Yankey as OL and Buchanon, Desir and Brooks as DB
as well as Kelvin Benjamin at WR if Watkins is not the pick at #2

I like that, I just threw out all the possible names in case of trades or other unforeseen circumstances.

I want the OG in the 2nd for the left side. I agree with ksu on the #2 and #13 animals, we will agree that any of them is a starter upgrade. I think though that a OT somewhere in the 1st makes sure Saffold stays at RG and that is important for us moving the ball.

blue, say the Rams draft Matthews or Robinson, wouldn't you have him playing LG this year anyway?

UVA, Martin projects as a long term G to me. While I think he's a very good player I don't see the Rams drafting G in the 1st. That being said I wouldn't be upset 1 bit if they did take him after trading down.

For pick #2 think we should also include Mack. Are we breaking this down by pick or is it just general?

Think we should include Shazier too (if he falls into the second/trade situation)

Oh, and Su'a Filo out of UCLA looks like a great fit. Id slot him in the first round after Shazier. Jeremy Hill should be good at the bottom of the 2nd round list, too. Stupid lack of edit button

mutigers, if the Rams drafted Mathews or Robinson, I expect them to be OTs, probably RTs and I would hope that the 2nd round would be the LG. I think it depends on their defensive draft ideas. I can see the Rams going mostly defense also. I just don't think Bradford will beat anyone and our running game must run the engine or 4th place is in the future again.

I think they could trade down a few spots and get another 2nd day pick and then take Jake Matthews. From what I've heard the guy is the most pro ready OT in the draft and can be plugged in immediately. Plus I don't think the Rams are 100% sure Long will be ready for week 1. I'd love to see them get Ha Ha Clinton-Dix at 13.

Bottom line and then I'm going fishing for a few days...

We need offense. Our O has sucked for years. Blame it in the OC, blame it on the turf, blame it on the WRs. But sooner or later the QB has to put his big boy pants on and work with the WRs to find ways to get it done. If our QB and WRs have any intelligence at all, that's what they'll do. IF they want to win.

#2 Sammy "imma bad muthafucker" Watkins
#13 who knows who will be there? Lewan or Pryor

Give Bradford more support and then cut the flippin cord if he can't get it by now! Draft Boyd or Bridgewater to bring in slow as well.
