Fucking bitch. I just bought the kindle audiobook for A Feast For Crows, thinking that the Kindle app would read aloud through my headphones... Nope. It's just a plain audiobook. I should have looked into it further before buying. I already own the book, just wanted to have it read aloud to help pass time at work.

Never been to West Virginia huh?

Haha well at least by definition, your father's sister and your mother's brother aren't necessarily related. That's not to say that it can't still happen once in a while.

Oberyn and Dany have absolutely no relation to one another. Not even through marriage. They have common relatives, but are nothing to each other. They would both be blood related to Raegar's children that the Mountain murdered. But your uncle on your mother's side has no relation to your aunt on your father's side.

And yes that was 100% Ned's sword. It doesn't make it obvious on the show but in the book they also make it clear that Illyn Payne used Ned's own sword to chop his head off. That's why both the scene where Ned used the sword to behead the deserter and the scene where he gets beheaded were shown during the "Previously on Game of Thrones" segment.

Yeah, I'm not sure exactly who is and is not considered an in-law by the rules of in-lawism. I would have called them brother/sister-in-law, but I can see how that may not be common. I don't think I consider my sister's brother-in-law my brother-in-law as well. Either way, there's nothing personal between Oberyn and Dany, as they have never met, since Dany was not born the last time Oberyn was in King's Landing and Dany was born on the run.

And for another post, Elia and Rhaegar did not divorce, Rhaegar just kind of took off.

I heard that the voice for the audiobooks was the guy that played the Pyromancer in season 2.

yah ... recast because the original actor is now the "transporter" movie franchise guy

Thank you for this. I was pretty confused as to who the guy was giving her the flowers. Makes more sense now, and for f's sake, a show with this many characters can't lose cast members!!

Agreed. Not exactly sure what to expect this week. There could be some very climactic moments but there are so many storylines going on at once that it's hard for any to advance too much without others being neglected. There's probably a couple dozen series regulars and/or characters that had active storylines as of the season 3 finale that didn't even appear in the Season 4 Premiere. I'm sure they'll check in on many of those in episode 2.

Any of you guys watch Vikings on History? I just caught the last episode... Holy fuck, that ending scene was one of the most intense things I've seen in film. It was shot great, but fuck is it brutal.

It's great. It doesn't have the budget of GoT, if it did, I'd prob enjoy it more. I'm a sucker for Norse mythology and anything viking related.

Wait 'til you get to the episode I was referencing. Season 2 episode 7... Holy fuck.
