I just meant that writers/producers can't worry too much about what the fans say especially when it comes to a series ending. Were we happy when Mallory OD'd the last episode of Family Ties? Or happy when BA killed Murdock in the last episode? Nope, but we moved on.

It was definitely sad to see the series go. No ending was gonna make that go away.

I’ve heard they are going to consider several possible reboots and prequels. Here’s the thing about prequels - they suck! Nobody ever finishes a book and thinks ‘we’ll i hope there was one before that.’ Stop it already.

I liked it. I also thought the series had to end with them going towards some kind of republic/democracy which they sort of did.

No ending was going to make everyone happy. I guess if people wanted more drama built up or thought it was too convenient I could somewhat entertain that. But I thought the ending made sense, they pretty much wrapped up all loose ends, what more could you ask for?

I will say, one thing that would have made significantly more sense would have been a Jon/Grey Worm showdown. Maybe a trial by combat, Jon wins then says screw this I don't want to be King, then they can gather the lords and vote.

I really thought we were headed for trial by combat. That would have been fantastic I think. All in all, loved the ending. What a show and what a ride this has been.

They're like the Coast Guard, they rescue people who get themselves into trouble, stop drug smuggling, that sort of thing.

No point. That was Bran's sneaky way of getting Jon out of harm's way in Kings Landing. Bran (and maybe Tyrion) knew as soon as Jon got North he would keep riding and open up that fishing lodge with Tormund and Ghost.
