okay, well, a lot of you knew i was struggling to find work (damn that market sucks for college kids, all the laid off people are taking our part time jobs). well, i finally found a temp job through an agency. well, here's the job: Housekeeping at a nursing home. 630am-330pm. it blows. if it weren't 10/hour i'd be going nuts. so, what would you like to complain about??? let it allll out. :)

Unless the job is disgusting... being a housekeeper at a nursing home sounds rewarding to me...

not sure how to take that...is it...sarcasm? i can't tell. darn you internet! anyway, there are small perks i guess. i mean, i like old people honestly. my first and only other job was at a retirement home. however, there is a huge difference in the two. retirement homes aren't that typical smelly, dingy type place that nursing homes are. it's just sad at the place i'm at now...and i'm not working with anyone with in 35 years of my age. just one of those really awkward working situations...something we all have to do i suppose. i just happen to dread every day. *sigh* bring it. a few weeks and i'll be back at school worrying about my 'real' job.

The market is dry around here for college students and no experience. Luckily I have plenty after 4 internships ;)

yeah, i mean, i'd certainly go for an internship, but there aren't as many for kids post-freshman year. that and most i could possibly get are unpaid. one downfall to my major is that most of the internships are unpaid. next summer i hope to be working with the pirates, which would be wicked awesome.

Well it sucks when people want to try and argue over the price. It's like look, bitch, I'm just the gigolo, I don't set the damn rates.

Not sarcastic in anyway. Any time you can help someone that needs help, that is a day well lived.

I'm in favour of unions in theory. What I don't like is seeing completely inept workers being hugged and coddled and accepted as being completely inept, and I have to ensure people's work are done correctly, and, no, I'm not a supervisor.

Only a couple years to go, though, and I'll be making six figures, with the course I'm taking under my belt.

Speaking of vents, I'm quite short on 1x2 grille tiles. They work very well as vents.
