Did anything happen as of yet with the Cards getting caught hacking the Astros database? That story kind of disappeared.

I think someone from the Cards was fired(can't remember his name) - it wasn't any big name though I don't think

Someone on the Cards staff got fired for trying to make a grilled cheese in a sideways toaster? That seems a little harsh.

Anybody watch The Strain? I'm halfway through season 1, desperately trying to catch up. It is fantastic so far.

At times I like it a lot, at times I think its really dumb. Second season just started and I am still watching so I must at least like it OK.

Do the Washington Redskins really have that many fans? Up until very recently they were consistently the 2nd most valuable NFL team behind the Cowboys. I know fans of just about every team, I've never met a Redskins fan.
Never met one either but encountered quite a few online.

My brother in law is one. I hate my brother in law. He's one of those ultra vigilant "Not one Native American has a problem with the name. Never have." I don't know if he ever goes a day without wearing something Redskins related.

One of the reasons they are "valuable" is because their owner has sold everything. Like the "Out of Town Scoreboard". Used to be the "McDonald's Out of Town scoreboard" on the broadcasts. Now it's "Nissan Presents the McDonald's out of town scoreboard powered by Dell. Now let's go to the Scott's Miracle Grow Studio" Then when they cut to the studio, there is a screen splash with "Clothing provided by Men's Wearhouse" and the presenter will invariably be sitting near a can of Pepsi. I haven't watched a "dead Injun pelt" game in years, but it really got incredibly obnoxious for a while.

He would also charge like 30 bucks to park at the stadium. Then offered shuttle buses from other places. Then charged 20 to park there, and 5 bucks for the ride. Every fucking penny is squeezed.

After an 18 inning snoozefest it's time for our heroes to take on their nemesis, the Washington Nationals. 2 games back, let's close gain some ground boys.

Gibbons says Aaron Sanchez is going to be a reliever the rest of the season. That would seem to suggest the Jays will be acquiring a starter sooner rather than later.

Of course, Sanchez shouldn't be the one losing his spot in the rotation when Knuckleball McDickface is still serving up HR's with a side of fries but that's just me.
