They'll be better than that if you buy into Pythagorean records (expected W-L based on that absurd run differential they have) and the projections. And honestly, the division is so wide open, they might not need to be much better than an 88 win team to win it.

And it's not even like they've got good pitchers underachieving. There simply isn't much pitching talent in their rotation.
It's a funky season for Pythagorean records in the AL - other than the Blue Jays, look at the A's who I believe have the worst record in the AL. There isn't a whole lot separating teams this year.

Nope. When Stroman went down the Jays lost their only legitimate chance at a top pitcher. RA Dickface is getting worse by the outing, too. Might be time to trade him for scraps (but he was totally worth Thor! :L).

I'm guessing the team is out of it by the end of July and they move Buehrle and Dickey for whatever they can get.

Blue Jays have tons of offense, Mets have tons of pitching, shall we make another trade?

Where would the Jays be without Donaldson this season?
Nowhere. Which makes it even more painful because acquiring an 8 win superstar should push you over the top but that's nigh on impossible with the Jays' 3.5 win rotation.

I saw something on Facebook today coined the "Water Challenge," a health challenge in which people attempt to drink one gallon of water in a day.

Apparently, people struggle to do it, but holy crap, I drink an average of roughly 9 liters of water every day, which is over 2 gallons, and it's basically an absent habit. How is this a challenge?

Or am I some sort of water drinking freak?

People don't drink water enough, which is why when they try to drink a lot for the first time, they can't do it

Your body can't adjust when you're not doing it enough

I get anxiety if I don't have a water bottle within reaching distance.

Bullet dodged. Kershaw will replace Scherzer in the All-Star game.

Also, how about those Pirates?

One of the best infields in baseball history still hang out together. That's awesome.

You nailed em Dash.

BTW, can either the Cardinals or Pirates as well as the Nationals please just lose some games? Maybe a 10 game skid or 2?

Operative word there, OR. I'll even go so far to say Cardinals only.
