Life is grand, no complaints from me work wise, etc. Trying to move again, which I'm so sick of...but I really want to have a pet, and current place doesn't allow it. That and my current place is in a forever state of construction. I moved in knowing that, but man it's grinding on my gears.

The worst part is the Mets knew about his elbow pain for a while and never did anything until now

And this goes back to the Wilpons being inept owners. The Mets medical staff has to be among the worst in pro sports in terms of spotting/diagnosing injuries, treating them properly, knowing when to rehab versus surgery. It's not a season killer because they have so much depth but it hurts their ability to trade some of their other pitchers now.

When the Mets sign a pitcher, they should just get the Tommy John surgery out of the way first.
