I totally understand why some of these illustrations & lines are racist as hell (custard offends birds, duh) but can't the rights holders just create new imagery for those pages in new prints instead of just pulling the otherwise fine books altogether?

We had "My Darling Wife Gretchen, Get Your Ass Back In The Kitchen" when I was a kid before they stopped publishing it.

I agree with you, they niced up a bunch of fables and fairy tales over the years. Why not these? I understand the fables and fairy tales may not have had 1 author they were attributed to so it may have been easier, but they could at least talk the Geisel estate about it.

one of the online brokerages i use has the eternal message "due to high market volatility, waiting times are....."
