Funny thing about wild hogs. I was hiking near Fontana Dam once on the Appalachian Trail and there were these large traps. I thought they were for bears but was told by another hiker the traps are for the wild hogs. I seriously thought he was kidding (IE... a lot of fat women in the area) and I laughed but nope he was serious.

Not only do they do the most damage on the trails, they are actually the most aggressive animals that could attack humans around the smokey mountains.

Who would have thought wild hogs are in the Smoky's, but they were brought there for hunting. Now they are so invasive they are the only animal that is permitted to be hunted in the Smoky Mountains.
