Fun filled mostly insomnia filled night last night. This one was partially my fault. My choice of books to read this summer have been suspect. I re-read The Stand to get ready for the upcoming miniseries - that's about a superflu wiping out 99% of the world. Great reading during Covid times. And last night finished a book about a super fast rabies epidemic. Its called Survivor Song and the whole story takes place in 4 or so hours. It was great but creepy and tense.

Dreadful disorganized day here at work has me daydreaming of quitting. But if I did I'd lose our health insurance and probably have to fire our pool boy. It's a shame too, in another year or so we may be able to afford a pool.
