The Nebraska thread should be starting soon.

Of course I will post in it.

BTW, bet the farm and both of your reproductive devices(I am trying to be politically correct. men have 2 testicles, women have two ovaries) on Oregon.

Let him be excited. The Ducks looked pretty good and I think fans should be cautiously optimistic about this season. The real test is next week though.

They did, but this was an FCS team they were playing. OD acts like they beat Bama or something. But of course, I think OD would brag about the Ducks beating a Pop Warner team. lol

Agree. If your Ducks look good vs. the Huskers, you guys may have something.

We'll see. Nebraska should have a very balanced offensive attack and could give Oregon problems. The spread has jumped from 3.5 to 9.5 in favor of Oregon though.

Unless Nebraska was holding back 70% of their Defense against Arkansas State, then that game may not show you much either.
Someone need to tell Nebraska that running a 3-4 defense doesn't mean that you don't use just 7 guys on defense.

yeah, i have seen a few of those lines before…and Riley was always un-predictable in his game plan prep as well. "TE drag-n-go up the sidelines on a fly" was a favorite that comes to mind (isolates a D LB on the TE and favors the O in a 1-on-1 matchup).

works at least twice a game.

Oregon's offense looked good. like better than last year, not quite back to Mariota years.
Defense looked better than last year. better tackling. guys stayed home.
not as many penalties from the starters.

Yes Oregon gave up 21 points 7 of which came off a turn over and short field.

Oregon also never went for 2 and hit every xtra point kick

Only reason Oregon should be worried about Nebraska is they may use magic, since they looked like Houdini escaping Arkansas State.

Pretty sure you picked Oregon to win every game last year too.

Oregon's defense was "OK". Still had a few missed tackles and a lot of penalties. It could have been worse though.

I don't know about 70%, but I'd bet the Huskers were staying pretty vanilla so as not to show all of their cards to the Ducks.

I know USC did the same for about 3 quarters, but pesky damn WMU made them show a lot more than they wanted to. :L
