I have Reggie Bush and Chris Ivory. I keep thinking Bush looking for some receiving yards. Both face tough run D's

I saw this and didn't grab the link... take it for what it's worth...

Ivory has been a legitimate top-ten player both by fantasy scoring and by Total NEP, but with a passing emphasis this week he may see less field time. He has caught all five of his targets this year, and ranks 11th among running backs in Target NEP, but with such a small sample size thus far it's hard to tell if this is an improved skill or not. The more likely bet is that Chris Johnson, who has been ineffective as a runner (outside the top 40 in Rushing NEP) but has a good reputation as a receiver, will see some pass-catching opportunities come his way. Yet, with a Target NEP of -8.72, his team has lost value every time the ball has gone in the air his way.
I expect the Jets to play by reputation and not by the numbers, so Johnson should see the most work, negating Ivory's value. Johnson should struggle on his own and against the Lions, and neither of these two should be in your Week 4 lineups

Bush has been pretty solid as a rb2.

Bush has been alright but he's going up against the top run D so I'm hesitant to throw him in

I'd go with Ivory.. so long as he's upright, he's just going to continue to get more and more carries at CJ?K's expense. And Bush will likely vintners to lose touches the healthier Bell becomes

Both D's are tough against the run. PPR, this is an easy call for Bush, IMO. When you can't traditionally run it between the tackles, swings and screens and check downs become the norm.

I'm more impressed with the Jets' run-D than the Lions' run-D. Start Ivory. I'm also thinking that this may be a low-scoring game.

One site had Vegas topping this out at 45 points for both teams. That's not bad if both teams score about 3TD. I don't agree with Vegas because...

  • Jets are averaging 20.7 points per game on offense. Lions are averaging 20.3.
  • Jets D is allowing 24 points per game. Lions allowing 15.
