Man I had to run to the store fast, but Diaz struck out the side with only 3 balls? Guy is starting off the season fuckin' proper!

Not sure how the Giants are shaping up this year but they were terrible last year. Hopefully we can win that series. Good win against the Indians though, they're a damn good team. And 1.5 games without Cruz.

If someone would have told me a week ago we would win 2 outa 3 against Cleveland and LOSE the game Paxton pitches ... I would have called bullshit and laughed at them.

Baseball is a funny game ... M's off to a great start. Need to carry the momemntum and play .500 ball on the road and then keep winning series at home.

That is the proven tried and trusted way to the post season

KC is off to a tuff start ... but MN and SF each just won 2/3 opening series ( SF beat the Dodgers twice ) - We win 4/8 on that road trip its a success.

We will find out mid April in a 4 game set with the Astros what kind of team we have

I am pretty sure in his 1st game or 2 they played 'pour some sugar on me' for his comeout song and then it just stuck. Was not planned I do not think

Everyone should know that song. Once had a very attractive girl strip for me at her home with whipped cream to that song and now whenever I hear it I have to think of clean thoughts to not boner out on the spot.

Great win to take the series! Mike Leake pitched a very nice game and Diaz didn't look hitable. Haniger and Gordon with some big bombs to get us to the W.

Overall I would say this was a successful series. Taking 2 from the Indians is a good start. Some bright spots and some bad though.

Good from the series:
-Mitch Haniger off to an impressive start.
-Cano is also swinging a hot bat.
-Gordon in my opinion was good too both at the plate and for the most part in the field. I think there will be times when his lack of experience in the outfield will show but his athleticism and speed can make up for some of it.
-Felix pitched better than I thought he would. Granted I don't think he looked "sharp" he still was able to keep them from crossing the plate.
-Leake pitched well also. Leake is what he is there will be times when he will get hit around a bit but I have confidence in him to be good for us.
-Diaz was a little rocky the first game but got the job done and looked great in his second outing.
-Cruz with 2 homers also good and hopefully injury isn't too bad.

The bad:
-Cruz and Zunino injuries. Hoping they are not out for too long and come back healthy.
-Paxton was not good. He has great "stuff" so not too worried about him yet. Its only 1 game.
-Seager was garbage if not for his lucky hit he would look even worse. 1 lucky for 10
-Healy 0-11.. do better.

Good start to the season. It is early and a lot of baseball to go. Go M's
