as an aside, Roberson rushed for 62 yards, but it was his passing that killed OU, not his running. Sproles took care of that part...

and we are talking about the 70's and early 80's.

Keep up, K?

No, YOU are talking the 70s and 80s

The discussion is how dual threat QBs have faired against Texas and OU over history, not just the times YOU want to discuss.

That problem goes back to the 1970's

I'd agree with some post Switzer teams, but I can't think of anybody that OU played against during Switzer's years where a qb killed them with the run.

Sure has been a problem as of late. There was the ISU qb, tho, a few years back that came into the game vs OU, in Norman, who was being touted for the Heisman and OU just literally tore him a new one.

Damn how did this turn into a discussion of the Tejas QB's? I thought this thread was about who was going to be starting at OU. I guess it's QB envy that brings the boys from Austin to this thread.

From Big 12 media day. Who has the worst mascot?

Runner up for worst mascot: the Oklahoma Sooners. Why?
"OU – they got those horse-pig things."

Wheat, that is why I quote everything for the reading challenged. LOL! I just hate when threads get off topic. I think this thread has a lot more life just discussing the subject at hand. Which QB gets the nod at OU? My personal preference is Bell because Knight did not impress in the spring game. But since we had 4 years of "Shaky" Jones I will take either at this point.

The dude can run the option like a champ and he's 6'3". Not too shabby as a passer too 27 TDs to only 3 picks senoir yr. It looks like that is the right choice over Bell.
