GMFB, they were rated higher. News flash dumbass the college game is significantly different then the high school game. That's why you saying they will be better is hilarious and you being nothing but a dipshit homer.

Wanna make a bet who will have the better running back group this season? Put your figurative money where your mouth is, loud mouth.

The only loud mouth is you hilljack, you are the one boasting off about how good oklahomas rbs will be all the while linking their recruiting ranking as proof. Bahahahahahahah

I have confidence in WVU's backs because they have experience sure oklahomas may be more talented but that doesn't mean they will be better.

How would you like to do this???

I actually said Oklahoma had more talented backs. I didn't initially say they were better college backs, but I'm down for a one month avy bet.

Because I've conceded that Oklahomas backs don't have the game experience, but that wasn't the argument. The argument was that West Virginia has the most talented running back group in the conference. This simply isn't true, and the data I provided bears that out. I don't give a damn that our backs don't have the game experience. They are extremely talented (significantly higher ranked than West Virginia) and they have been waiting their turn behind the best RB duo Stoops ever had. They're not a couple of nobody true freshmen. These guys were wanted by the big boys. None of West Virginia's were. They will be running behind a top 3 offensive line unit in the country. They are more talented and will be better than West Virginia. Period.

No, ya actually did say that jackass. Short memory or sry you deliberately stupid?

I'll do a one month avy if ya like. Name the criteria we judge on.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you there. Brett Rypien is a stud. I'm sorry he's not Kellen Moore. Who is? That is an impossible standard for a Boise State QB to have to live up to. What he is is a first team all-conference QB since his freshman year and yes that includes first team over the Wyoming kid that everyone is drooling over. He's also one of the highest rated returning quarterbacks in the nation.

We have our problems and we have underwhelmed these last two seasons. I'll give you that but starting QB is not one of those problems and now that Tommy Stuart has left, if Ryp goes down we are in serious trouble.

When he is good he is great, but you never know when he is going to be good. I'm just saying I don't see him as a game changer. No mater who plays QB I see us 8-4

I like every ones enthusiasm in our Backup QB's but come on. All the game experience and a Heisman finalist, does not get replaced without, some drop off. Kendal and Murray, might be good QB's but I doubt either will come close to Mayfield, if he goes down.

Murray is a great athlete but he's 5'9. Kendal could be a good QB but we haven't seen anything but cleanup. Murray will be the harder one to defend, if he replaces Mayfield mid game. If they come after him, he will burn anyone with his legs, but that's where it stops. He has a decent arm but he's 5'9 and a lot of the junk spread routes, he will not be able to see or read. So teams will force him to beat you with his arm, with a solid game plan. Kendal could be a solid QB but he's not Mayfiled.

A Heisman front runner going down, will cost us a game maybe two.

OU has always had a good to great running game and this year will be no different. I will not be surprised to see 2 OU RB's go for 1000 yards. RB by committee will be the game plan, with one of the best if not the best Oline in College Football. That always make it easier on any QB

If Rypien does go down, I hope we go with Constantine over the Kansas scrub. Supposedly the kid is taking some nice leaps.

I would like to see him get his full RS year. As I think we should have kept Rypien in the RS status,

I was worried that we brought Cozart in because the coaches felt Constantine isn't ready to start if Rypien were to get hurt...it could always be that they just wanted to bring someone else in to push Constantine to work to hold on to the backup job, we didn't really have anyone else to do that

It's too bad Tommy Stuart left. If not for Rypien I would have been 100% confident with him as our starter. He's accurate, has a nice arm, and is a great athlete who can really move. He was really underrated in my opinion.

To me it was your first post. So you can say iniatilly or not ya still said it.

Thanks

That's right, but I didn't say it initially which is exactly what I stated. Reading is hard, huh? But now I'll come right out and say it. Oklahoma will have a better running back group in 2017. So suck on that.

Stuart was definitely more steady, I would have been completely confident in him if Rypien ever went down, I don't know how Stuart was ever behind Finley. Finley is somehow a starter at NC State and he was definitely the worst of the 3

Rypien just has that upside, when he plays well he throws a beautiful ball, can make any throw on any part of the field and is accurate. For whatever reason, well I guess he was a sophomore, but he just completely loses control of his mechanics and starts either hurling the ball to the opposing defense or out of bounds when a receiver is wide open.
