Stuart was definitely more steady, I would have been completely confident in him if Rypien ever went down, I don't know how Stuart was ever behind Finley. Finley is somehow a starter at NC State and he was definitely the worst of the 3
Rypien just has that upside, when he plays well he throws a beautiful ball, can make any throw on any part of the field and is accurate. For whatever reason, well I guess he was a sophomore, but he just completely loses control of his mechanics and starts either hurling the ball to the opposing defense or out of bounds when a receiver is wide open.
I'd have to check his stats, but I think he's only thrown 16 picks in two seasons. That's not bad for an underclassman. One thing I'll say is he is not good on the go at all and has zero escape ability. And he's fucking terrible throwing on the run.
I agree with you on Findley. He sucked at Boise but it seems like he was pretty damn decent starting for NC State last year. How he ever beat out Rypien and Stuart in 2015 is beyond me. He's not even close to either guy's level.
